Ashok Mathur’s career is highlighted by innovation, strategic insight and vision. Ashok has a knack for spotting emerging trends, is willing to jump in early, and take risks to commercialize on the opportunities. Prior to Patagonia Health, Ashok served as the Director of Software Development at Misys Healthcare Systems for five years. Based on deep understanding of healthcare IT market and emerging Software as a Service SaaS business models; Ashok decided to start this company. Prior to Misys, Ashok was Head, North America software development for the fast moving mobile phone market for Sony Ericson Mobile. Earlier, Ashok was the founding executive for Long Board Inc, where he led the paradigm shift from traditional circuit switching to Internet based voice over IP as well as raise $37 million of venture capital funding. As Managing Director, Nortel Networks, Ashok built (from scratch), grew and ran International software operations with responsibility for $55 million P&L. |

Abhi Muthiyan is a visionary in the world of software technologies. He understands trends and big picture concepts, yet is a hands-on technologist who can get things done. Abhi is a strong customer advocate who designs products and features that solve real business problems. Prior to co-founding Patagonia Health EMR, Abhi worked to identify markets gaps and revenue streams to develop products and features at Symantec. As an architect and innovator, he holds patents in Storage Area Networking space. He also holds an MBA in New Product Development from NC State University and a BS in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune

Ajay K Ajmani M.D
|
Practicing medicine for over 20 years, Dr. Ajay Ajmani established his solo practice in the historic district of Sanford, NC in 1997 where he provides primary care; rheumatology and allergy care for both adults and children. He has a strong interest in medical information technology and robotics. Dr. Ajmani received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delhi in India, his medical diploma from the Armed Forces Medical School in Pune, India, and completed his internal medicine/pediatrics residency at the Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI. He went on to a postgraduate fellowship program in Allergy and Rheumatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he now lives with his wife and three children. Dr. Ajmani is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Pediatrics. He also maintains professional affiliations as a Member of the American College of Rheumatology, a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a Fellow with the American College of Physicians. |

L. Faith Birmingham M. D.

A Durham, North Carolina native, Dr. L. Faith Birmingham, maintains an independent primary care practice in North Raleigh focused on long-term patient relationships and the bio-psychosocial medical model: taking care of the whole individual within their particular environment. She is eager to mine the clinical data that implementing an EMR will ultimately deliver, and to study collective patient outcomes. Dr. Birmingham received a BS Chemistry from NCSU and graduated from Duke University’s School of Medicine in 1981, followed by a residency at Duke Family Medicine through 1987. She worked for five years in urgent care and locums tenens at Physicians Immediate Care, Raleigh, while raising her young children. In 1993, she joined Kaiser Permanente Family Practice, eventually becoming Chief of Clinical Quality Assurance, Chief of Primary Care, and a board member for the Permanente Medical Group in 1998-99. In a quest for more independence, she joined Family Medical Associates of Raleigh – 4 physicians -- in 1999, ultimately forming her own private practice – Raleigh Family Health Care – in 2003. Dr. Birmingham is a board certified family practice and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Tom Skelton, with 25 years of experience, is a seasoned Chief Executive with international and public company board experience plus strong knowledge of the technology and healthcare markets. Currently, Tom is CEO of the Foundation Radiology Group, a pre-eminent diagnostic imaging, radiology service bureau and physician practice group. Prior to joining FRG, Tom was President of MED 3000, a national provider of healthcare management & technology services across the nation. Earlier, Tom assumed increasing responsibilities at Misys Healthcare system, a top Healthcare IT company in the USA. As CEO of Misys Healthcare Systems, over six years, Tom grew the revenue from $260M to almost $600M. Tom has served on the Boards of Misys Plc, Microfocus, Plc, the Wake Education Partnership, and the Robert Morris University School of Nursing. He also served as the President and COO of Art.com, a fast-growing online retailer of prints, posters and custom framing. Manoj led Art.com's growth from a small internet retailer to the leading e-commerce site for art and custom framing. Prior to Art.com, Manoj served as the CFO of Red Hat, Inc. At Red Hat, Manoj led its Public Offering, Acquisitions, and Internationalization efforts. |

Charles Lambert

Charles Lambert has 11 years experience in the Healthcare IT industry. He is currently CFO of Capario Inc, a healthcare insurance claim clearing house based in California. Prior to that he spent 10 years as CFO of Misys Healthcare Systems, a division of Misys plc, based in North Carolina. During his tenure at Misys, Charles was involved in a number of acquisitions & divestures. Charles acted, at separate times, as interim president of the Misys clearinghouse division and president of the homecare division as well as sponsoring the roll out of Lean Six Sigma across the division. Charles has extensive international experience having lived and worked in both the UK and Asia. In his 30 year career he has held executive-level positions at public and privately-held companies in the healthcare, technology and industrial sectors. |
